Dr. Christopher Liano, LPC
I am a dedicated health professional specializing in couples therapy, offering a premium, relationship-focused approach for discerning individuals and partners. I support couples through life’s most significant transitions—strengthening connection, rebuilding trust, and deepening intimacy with intention and care.
My work is trauma-informed and evidence-based, delivered in a discreet, judgment-free space where you can feel truly seen and supported. I draw from an eclectic blend of advanced modalities tailored to your unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and Polyvagal Theory (PVT), alongside additional therapeutic approaches developed over 14 years of clinical experience.
I am committed to providing a personalized, concierge-level experience that honors your story, protects your privacy, and supports lasting transformation. Clients describe me as compassionate, professional, and insightful. I am easy to talk to and uphold strict confidentiality, while offering a holistic approach that integrates mind, body, and relationship.
For individual work, I specialize in supporting men through polyvagal-informed meditation and nervous system regulation. I also incorporate concepts from Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus to help clients better understand the male brain and improve communication and connection.
I specialize in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a psychotherapy approach designed to help people process and heal from traumatic experiences, anxiety, PTSD, and other distressing life events. EMDR works by helping the brain reprocess difficult memories so they become less emotionally overwhelming and disruptive in daily life. During EMDR sessions, clients focus briefly on distressing memories while engaging in guided bilateral stimulation — such as eye movements, tapping, or sounds — which supports the brain’s natural healing process.
