Dawn Murphy, LPC
I believe that within each person lies the capacity for growth and healing, even amidst life’s most profound challenges. My role is to provide a calm, supportive space where clients can explore their inner resources, develop effective coping strategies, and strengthen their ability to navigate stress with confidence and grace. I cultivate a collaborative therapeutic relationship that empowers clients to recognize their strengths and build the resilience needed to thrive. I am deeply committed to helping individuals uncover their inherent capacity to flourish.
My therapeutic approach emphasizes resilience-building in anxiety management and parenting support, guided by practical, evidence-based tools. With experience as an adjunct professor and school counselor, I bring a unique perspective that allows me to offer insightful, educational guidance tailored to each client’s needs. My goal is to support sustainable, positive change through a personalized, high-caliber experience.
Parenting and relationships can be deeply rewarding, but they can also feel overwhelming, stressful, and exhausting at times. Between the demands of daily life, communication challenges, and the pressure to “do it all,” many parents and couples find themselves feeling disconnected, frustrated, or stuck.
As a spouse, mother, and mental health professional, I understand firsthand the challenges families face. I specialize in supporting stressed parents and couples as they navigate the ups and downs of parenting, relationships, and family life with greater confidence and less stress.
Through individual therapy, couples counseling, and parent coaching, I provide a supportive and compassionate space where we can work together to improve communication, manage conflict, strengthen relationships, and create a more peaceful home environment.
You do not have to figure it all out alone. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed as a parent, struggling with relationship stress, or simply wanting your family life to feel more connected and balanced, I am here to help. You really can have it all- and feel joy.
Together, we can help your family thrive.
